Real Harbour Capital Appointed on Ramsgate Port & Harbour as AuM Reaches £70m

Real Harbour Capital was appointed by Thanet District Council to lead the asset management of Ramsgate’s Port & Harbour industrial and open-storage estate. Extending across approximately 95 acres on the Kent coast, the historic estate is a significant regional commercial hub supporting industrial activity, maritime enterprise and a diverse range of occupiers.

The appointment increased Real Harbour Capital’s assets under management to £70 million and marked its third mandate since launch, following appointments by Jamestown and Canterbury City Council. Working across both public-sector and private-capital partnerships, Real Harbour Capital will develop and implement strategies designed to improve the estate’s performance, strengthen its occupier proposition and unlock sustainable long-term value.

Jamestown Makes First UK Shopping Centre Acquisition with Real Harbour Capital as Asset Manager

Jamestown completed its first UK shopping centre acquisition with the purchase of Lion and Lamb Yard in Farnham, Surrey, on behalf of a DAX-listed company’s pension fund. The pedestrianised town-centre destination links Farnham’s main retail street with a Waitrose supermarket and is home to a mix of independent boutiques, cafés, restaurants and established national brands.

Real Harbour Capital was appointed to work with Jamestown on the asset management of the scheme, applying its experience in supermarket-anchored shopping centres to support performance and long-term stewardship. Immediate priorities include leasing the two vacant retail units with complementary occupiers and engaging with the local community on the property’s future, while preserving Lion and Lamb Yard’s role as an established part of Farnham’s town-centre fabric.
